The family of Nic Bryant, who died in a workplace accident, have been reunited with the first responders, where they thanked them for ultimately allowing him to donate his organs.

The 25-year-old was working as a rigger at a Wollongong construction site last May when he sustained fatal injuries.

Safe Work New South Wales is still investigating his death.
