Century-old Bajool Explosives Reserve approved for expanded operations

The Bajool Explosives Reserve, one of four state government-owned facilities of its kind in Queensland, will increase operations.

Established in 1913, the reserve safely stores and makes explosives, mostly for the mining industry.

What's next?

Initial work on the expanded section will start early next year and is expected to be fully operational by 2030.
