The first camera survey of a sacred Aboriginal site in Western Australia's Kimberley region has detected a "concerning number" of feral cats and foxes.

Karajarri rangers and conservationists from WWF-Australia identified the predators and also confirmed the presence of the greater bilby.

What's next?

Rangers will continue tracking native and non-native species.
